Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
At UnifiedCalculators ("we", "us", or "our"), we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent approach to data processing and our commitment to protecting your personal information. Because our core service involves sensitive financial, health, and personal metrics, we have architected our platform to ensure maximum privacy by default.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The fundamental architecture of UnifiedCalculators is designed so that we do not need, nor do we want, your personal data.
- No User Accounts: We do not require you to register, create an account, or provide an email address to use our calculators. (Contacting us through our contact form is entirely optional — see Section 3.)
- No Calculation Tracking: All data you enter into our calculators (e.g., salary, health metrics, loan amounts) is processed locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. This data is never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers.
- No Financial Data Storage: We do not connect to your bank accounts, nor do we request or store credit card numbers, social security numbers, or any other highly sensitive PII.
2. Information We May Collect Automatically
To keep the platform secure and performant, the only data collected automatically is standard technical information:
- Server Logs: Like almost all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and timestamps. This is used solely for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and debugging.
- Analytics: We do not currently run any third-party analytics or behavioural tracking scripts on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and name the provider here before deploying it.
3. Information You Choose to Send Us
The one place on this site where you can share personal information with us is our contact form. Using it is entirely optional, and nothing you type into a calculator is ever attached to it.
- What we receive: The name, email address, and message you submit — nothing more.
- How it reaches us: Submissions are delivered by Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, which forwards them to our inbox. Your submission is transmitted to and stored on Formspree’s servers, which are located in the United States, and is handled under Formspree’s Privacy Policy.
- Why we use it: Solely to read and reply to your message. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your address for marketing.
- Spam filtering: The form includes a hidden field used to detect automated submissions. It is never shown to you and collects nothing about you.
- Retention: We keep correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and any sensible follow-up, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (see Section 7).
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
UnifiedCalculators does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
- Essential Storage Only: Where the site needs to remember a preference, it uses your browser’s own local storage rather than a tracking cookie. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- No Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We do not serve targeted advertisements, nor do we use cross-site tracking pixels (such as the Facebook Pixel) to monitor your browsing behaviour across the web.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website utilizes a limited number of trusted third-party services to deliver content efficiently:
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): We may use CDNs to host assets (like images or JavaScript libraries) to ensure fast load times globally.
- Google Fonts: Typefaces are served from Google Fonts. Google may receive technical data (such as your IP address) when your browser requests them, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Formspree: Processes contact-form submissions on our behalf, as described in Section 3.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data with these or any other third parties.
6. Children's Privacy
UnifiedCalculators is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it immediately.
7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Because we do not store calculator inputs or build user profiles, there is usually no personal data for us to export or delete. The exception is correspondence you have sent us through the contact form. In respect of that data you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your correspondence (the “right to be forgotten”).
- Withdraw consent for us to hold it, at any time.
- Object to our processing of it, or request that we restrict processing.
To exercise any of these, contact us and state what you would like us to do. We will respond within 30 days. Note that a deletion request may also require removal from our form processor’s records; we will action both.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this page occasionally. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates when the latest changes were made.
9. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please reach out to our privacy team via our Contact Page.
